You read that headline correctly. Wood County WV death data, provided to me by Wood County Clerk Mark Rhodes, shows that deaths in Wood County were in line with historical data between July 2015 through December 2020. However, when looking at the data for 2021 and 2022, death increased by an astounding 38%.
Before we address the silence from our local media and medical professionals, let’s take a look at the raw data. The following table shows the total death in Wood County from July 2015 through July 2022, along with the increase/decrease (Inc/Dec) from the prior year:
If we annualize both 2015 and 2022, assuming we did experience and will experience roughly the same death/month rate, then the annualized total death for those years is 970 and 1,472 respectively. Annualizing the death results in an 8.35% increase from 2015 to 2016 and a 33.69% increase for 2022 compared to 2020. There is no point in comparing 2022 to 2021 when 2021’s increase was so great when compared to 2020.
Taking it one step further, if we look at the 66 months between July 2015 and December 2020, we find a death/month rate of 90.50. If we then look at the 19 months between January 2021 and July 2022, we find a death/month rate of 125.26. Again, when comparing these two sets of data, we see an increase in overall death of 38.41%.
I know that we will hear all about Covid causing an increase in death. If that were the case, why do we not see an increase from 2019 to 2020? Isn’t that when we had no idea how to treat Covid? In the year of the “pandemic,” overall death decreased from 2019 to 2020 by 3.5%. Is our record keeping to blame? Did some 2020 death spill over into 2021?
I don’t know.
What I do know is that we have supposedly been living through the greatest pandemic since 1918. Knowing that, shouldn’t we be keeping meticulous records of death and illness? Shouldn’t we be alarmed at a 38% increase in overall death? Shouldn’t that be leading every evening news telecast and be featured on the front page of our local paper? Where are our leaders in the medical community to explain this extraordinary rise in overall death?
As we have reported in the past, Covid deaths in 2020 are minuscule when compared to Covid deaths reported in 2021 and 2022:

Our medical community and policymakers banned the use of existing therapeutics (Ivermectin & HCQ) and pointed to the miraculous new technology available with the experimental mRNA shots. These shots were introduced in late December 2020 and were widely distributed and administered in early 2021. The incidence of both illness and death then spiked an unbelievable 284% and 298% respectively in 2021. Yet our government officials continue to promote these shots as safe and effective.
If this were your business and you saw sales rise or fall by nearly 300% in a given year, you would want to know every detail about that rise so that you could capitalize on the same circumstances in future years. In the same way, if you saw a decrease in profit of 38%, when historically your profits ranged anywhere from an 8% rise to a 3.5% decline, you would be scrambling to understand every detail of that loss in profit.
Yet, here we are. Overall death in Wood County has risen 38% in the last 19 months, and no one is investigating. We introduced a new experimental technology to address covid and incidence of illness and death both rose after this introduction by almost 300% each, and no one is investigating.
I urge each of you reading this to contact your local county clerk and ask for your annual death data by month and age (still attempting to get age and gender data included). Do your own comparison and educate your community.
I am not a doctor and cannot tell you why this increase is happening, nor can I tell you why our media, government and medical establishments are ignoring this data. Our medical establishment is turning a blind eye to extreme increases in death. It is up to We the People to sound the alarm.
