The Marietta Ohio 9-12 Project is hosting guest speaker Brenda Arthur, an authority on refugee resettlement policy and its effect on legislative outcomes and the culture of our communities. A West Virginia resident, conservative activist and frequent radio show guest, Ms. Arthur has testified before the West Virginia House of Delegates Homeland Security committee. Her work further extends to all areas of immigration.
Ms. Arthur’s upcoming discussion, “Pulling Back the Curtain on Refugee Resettlement,” will focus on the impact resettlement policy and legislation has had in other states and the implications for West Virginia and Ohio residents. She will inform attendees how to effectively provide information to their friends, neighbors and local, state and federal lawmakers regarding immigration reform.
