WOOD COUNTY TEACHER OF THE YEAR – REALLY? … and this is how they spend their time and your Tax money!

What can you do?

Action Item:

Ohio Christian Alliance

The most important call to action of the year!

The sixty percent constitutional amendment increase has reached a critical point. HJR 1 passed out of the Constitutional Resolutions Committee on Wednesday, making the discharge petition of no effect. The bill is now in the purview of the Speaker’s power as to when it would come to the floor for a vote. The only day scheduled for session this week is Wednesday, and that is when the budget is scheduled to be voted out of the House.

WE URGE YOU TO CALL SPEAKER JASON STEVENS AND URGE HIM TO PUT HJR 1 ON THE FLOOR FOR A VOTE AND PLACE IT ON THE AUGUST BALLOT. MAY 5th

CALL SPEAKER STEVENS AND URGE HIM TO PUT HJR 1 CONSTITUTIONAL 60 PERCENT INCREASE REQUIREMENT ON THE FLOOR FOR A VOTE. According to sources at Ohio Right to Life, 60 members of the Ohio General Assembly have signed a pledge to support the 60 percent threshold when it comes to the floor for a vote. To be on the August ballot, it must pass before May 5th to head off the November abortion ballot issue. CALL TODAY.

Wood Co. WV Prosecuting Att. Pat Lefebure

Statement to the Voters

I will continue to work with the citizens of Wood County to make our community a safer and excellent place to raise our children. Continuing the fight against the drug epidemic will take a combination of efforts from law enforcement, treatment programs, and all community members to make an impact. Included in this focus will be dedicating more time and energy to informing our youth of the dangers of substance abuse and placing an emphasis on educating parents to ensure that they have appropriate tools to provide the necessary support and guidance for our children. As your elected official, my office will continue to serve as an extension of our community and be responsive to the challenges we face.
