    Born in Fostoria, Ohio, Charlie Earl was reared on a dairy farm in Seneca County near McCutchenville, Ohio. A graduate of Mohawk High School (Sycamore, OH), Charlie received his B.A. in English from the College of Wooster and an M.A. in Mass Communication from Bowling Green State University. In addition, Charlie has done doctoral course work in Mass Communication.
    Charlie’s life experience includes a long tenure as a radio broadcaster including as Farm Director for WFIN and later as a television newscaster. He has been a manager and majority owner of commercial radio properties, as well as a General Manager for a local TV enterprise. Charlie has taught advertising and mass communication courses at Bowling Green State University, Ohio, Northern University and Delaware County Community College in Downingtown, PA. Also, Charlie has worked with a corporate communications training company, engaged in political blogging and as a communication consultant-trainer.
    Married for 44 years to his wife, Pat, he is the proud father of Kelly Babcock (Kevin) and Rory P.J. (Heather). He has been blessed with four wonderful grandchildren.
