Wood County WV BOE Meeting
Charles Roberts reported on the Wood County BOE meeting. Discussions covered several topics, including the 2.0 grade point average rule for playing sports; Board Member Judy Johnson’s coaching people to come and speak in favor of mask mandates; Dr. Amigo spoke about masks not working and no child in West Virginia being hospitalized or dying from Covid and that science does not support Covid mandates; the importance of face-to-face instruction; the importance of our local representatives’ obligation to residents as opposed to the federal money received.
John Davis thanked the board and Mr. DeMoss for having two potential critical race theory pieces removed from PHS. He confirmed that Board Member Johnson did recruit people to appear at this meeting to speak in support of mask wearing and separating children by masked and unmasked classes. He stated that this action is illegal.
Jeff Smith spoke about the FOIA info dated 8/19/2021 which requested that the identification, isolation and existence of the Covid 19 virus should be documented from medical professionals through DHHR or the CDC that isolates and identifies the virus as a viral entity or any variant that has been claimed to be associated with such virus. The Bureau for Public Health BPH has completed its search for public records in its possession and has replied that no records appear that are responsive to the FOIA request. BPH suggests that the request be made to the CDC or the FDA; it was made and these organizations also stated they have no record of it either.
Parkersburg, WV City Council 8/24
During the public forum, Sean Keefe spoke about his experience as a government auditor and his career in banking and his belief that this experience has given him perspective on how the 2020 election was stolen. He believes that our voting system during this election has failed the voters at all levels—municipal, county, state and federal elections. He encouraged all to hear Dr. Douglas Frank Thursday, September 2 at The Rock Church.
City Council voted unanimously on Ordinance 1705 on its first reading for an administrative warrant to enter your property to make sure it’s up to code. There are two more readings on this ordinance.

Sean Keefe spoke about the 2020 voting problems and invited the commissioners to the Dr. Douglas Frank presentation 9/2.
County Commissioners spoke about software operations changes due by 9/3, and the tax department was concerned about this issue. Mark Rhodes, County Clerk, expressed his concerns because there will be software updates for the voting machines as well.
