We know that the future of our country depends on children today who know what our country really stands for and was founded upon – freedom and liberty. How will those children get that message if they are submerged in schools that don’t teach them about freedom and liberty?

One person who we can count on getting the message across is Lisa Watson. She is a former liberal who was totally submerged and even working to promote the propaganda of the Left. She saw the light and is now an outspoken Free-Market Education Activist instead.

I would like to tell you a little about Lisa and invite you to attend the Ohio Liberty Coalition event on September 30 in Westerville so that you can come meet and hear Lisa’s story and ideas for us to take back our country for yourself.

Lisa says that parents must run, not walk their children out of government schools. She was a victim of liberal indoctrination that is endemic in American colleges and universities, Lisa succumbed to the suggestions by professors that Christianity was little more than superstition from man’s unenlightened past. She absorbed the idea from these apologists that materialism was sufficient to explain the universe.

Lisa became indoctrinated in liberalism through volunteer and work positions. She had an internship at the university Women’s Center which framed history through the lens of race and sex. After that she had an internship in the local Planned Parenthood center. There she says she quickly embraced the ‘me-me-me’ culture of feminism and its pro-abortion mantra.

Finally landing on the board of the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), Lisa’s romance with the Left really began to blossom. Her roles with the organization included: Affiliate Board member, Affirmative Action Officer, Chair of the Racial Justice Taskforce, President of the Kansas City Chapter and ultimately, a stint on the National Board in New York City. To round out her tour of liberalism, she was a union steward for five years.

Lisa sites this verse “Professing herself to be wise, she had become a fool”(1) as inspiration in her journey. She had been fully deceived by the lies of the Darwinist evolution and admitted that intellectualism had been her idol.

She abandoned the folly of materialism and became a Christian. Having mastered the tools and language of the Left, Lisa now uses her powers for good.

Using what she learned from the Left, Lisa has developed a one-day workshop entitled, The Toolkit to Defeat the Left. It teaches conservatives how to elevate their messages from rhetoric to topic-specific strategies. It teaches how to win arguments with the Left. In the end, she breaks down why conservatives will need to adopt the ‘social-movement’ education model if they want to STOP the Leftist Agenda.
