The We the People Convention and The Ohio Citizens PAC (political action committee, a separate entity) will be held July 1 & 2, 2011 at the Columbus Convention Center, 400 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. The purpose of the Convention is to provide educational programs that will help all citizens participate in self governance as provided by the US and Ohio Constitutions by participating in the governance of their township, village, municipality, state and country. These events are open to every citizen who is concerned about our state and our country and is ready to get involved in fixing our political system.
At this convention Independent voters will learn about the critical role they play in elections today. Democrats and Republicans will learn how their parties are organized and how people are chosen to run for office for those parties. Minorities will find out how conservative values and policies can provide the path to equal opportunity and prosperity for all. Young conservatives will learn how the burden of taxation is shifting to them as our country ages.
If you are a Pastor, Priest or Rabbi, you will learn about the key role that the church must play in self-governance. If you are a business owner who is tired of being taxed out of business, you will learn how citizen involvement will change government and help you create jobs and be successful.
If you are a leader of a patriot group, or wish to start a patriot group, you can participate in our Leadership Training Track. You will learn how to form a group, attract members,organize your group, fundraise, and how make your group more effective and develop your own leadership skills. If you have questions about how the political process works and are considering running for office, this convention will give you the information and skills you need to get involved and win elections.
The We the People Convention and the Ohio Citizens PAC will allow you to meet other patriotic citizens from your area and around the state and nation. You will get to hear nationally known speakers and experts on important issues facing our nation and state. On Friday and Saturday nights the Ohio Citizens PAC will hold dinners that will raise money for use by patriot groups throughout the state. The Saturday night dinner will feature announced candidates for President of the United States in 2012 whom you will get to meet.
Plus, you will have a front row seat to one of the biggest and best 4th of July fireworks displays in the country! Join your fellow citizens in Columbus, Ohio this summer to celebrate the freedoms provided by our state and federal constitutions in the greatest country the world has ever known!
