Freedom Is On The Line…

By this time next week we will either have our religious liberties further limited or we will see the defeat of the U.S. Senate version of HR 5.  There is an enormous amount of pressure being brought to bear on the possible swing votes of senators Joe Manchin and Shelly Moore Capito of WV.  HR 5 is a national SOGI (sexual orientation, gender identity) law which is much more restrictive than even the NDO (Non-Discrimination Ordinance) attempted and defeated in Parkersburg, WV nearly 4 years ago.

Make no mistake, this piece of legislation is designed as an attack our civil and religious liberties by forcing every American to support, approve and celebrate a wicked lifestyle.  If enacted it would mean dire consequences for those in America who hold to and promote moral truth.

You need to act.  You need to take a few minutes and call both of our Ohio and West Virginia Senators, NOW!  Be polite but be clear in that as a West Virginian or an Ohio resident you do not support the Equality Act and you do not want the senator(s) to vote in favor of this LGBTQ legislation.  

Please make a call to each number and state your name, where you live and politely express your desire for the senator to vote this measure down.  It will take you just a few minutes.  Even if you called recently, do it again.  Every call counts and their offices regard every phone call as representation of a multitude of others who are their constituents.  (By the way, the supporters of such legislation are making their phone calls in large numbers in support so please do not disregard this request for action.)
